Madness drummer Dan Woodgate, known as Woody, has been announced as ambassador for Rethink Mental Illness, joining Dame Judi Dench and Alastair Campbell.

The 52 year old has a personal link to the charity, as his brother suffers from schizophrenia. He commented 'Rethink Mental Illness is the only charity out there that focuses on people with serious mental illnesses like schizophrenia and they do a lot of great work'. The band's to donate some royalties from new album, The Magic Line, to the charity as well as speaking on its behalf.
